Originally established by J P Celliers and J W Home in Worcester, South Africa, on 01 January 1920 the firm celebrated its centennial – 100 years of continuous legal practice – in 2020.

Our Law Library dating back to its inception in 1920 to modern online and e-book format boast a complete collection of law reports and academic writings to assist us to authoritatively counsel and practice in the legal fields we traverse.

Transformation

Murray Fourie & Le Roux Attorneys is committed to the empowerment of black persons as defined in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, 53 of 2003. Our procurement policy is to preferentially procure from Black Economic Empowered Providers. Presently the majority of our purveyors reflect our stance. We also serve in the Small Claims Court and undertake Pro Bono work, which contributes access to the law for black people. A comprehensive skills development plan is in place which is revised and updated annually.
