Labour Law

Our labour department will assist you to interpret and implement the laws regulating the relationship between those who hire others for their labour (employers) and those who hire their labour to others (employees). We cover the Individual Labour Sphere dealing with contracting, grievance and disciplinary processes, retrenchments and restructuring, health and safety, occupational injuries and diseases through to the Collective Labour Sphere dealing with collective bargaining, demarcation, strikes, lock outs and picketing. The CCMA, Bargaining Councils and Labour Courts are where we go to enforce your rights – be it for unfair dismissal, unfair labour practices, unfair discrimination or reviewing arbitration awards, appealing labour court decisions or bringing urgent applications in the labour court to protect your rights. Restraints in Trade disputes are regulars on our menu.INDIVIDUAL
